About Me

I recently quit my job to photograph wildlife full time. This is probably a terrible idea financially, but life is short and this is a hell of a lot more fun.

My thoughts on wildlife photography are pretty simple. I'd much rather take an interesting photo of a pigeon than a boring photo of an eagle.

And my favourite photos generally look like paintings or storybook illustrations. Or they have so much depth and texture that they keep pulling you back for more.

When I'm not photographing wildlife, my other hobbies include...

Getting up close and personal with nature

Climbing trees

Sleeping in fun places

Exploring the 'paths' around home

Climbing mountains

Impersonating bad taxidermy

Going on holidays with unexpectedly terrible weather

Getting eaten by parrots
